Hey Good People!
Welcome to In the Pink!
My name is Peyton Manning and I am ecstatic to be starting this blog with the wonderful Molly Burns! As we became fast friends this year, she and I discovered that we had many things in common; two of which are maintaining happy and healthy lifestyles and motivating others to do the same! Since both of us are fitness instructors at our college, I thought it would be exciting to combine forces and share ideas with our friends at school. We will discuss tips and tricks on how we have incorporated physical fitness, whole nutrition, and good health into the hectic life of a college student. I know firsthand that when college gets stressful between classes, organizations, and responsibilities, taking care of ourselves through exercise and healthy eating are often the first things to go. But hey, WE ARE ALL HUMAN! It is my dream that this blog will promote the following:
- Creativity: None of us are the same, so why should our exercises be? Individuality (in our personalities and outlooks) makes life and staying healthy a blast. We hope to inspire some new ways for you to break a sweat and have a lot of fun doing it too!
- Conscientiousness: The best way to pursue a better lifestyle is by living in the moment and appreciating fitness as a fun way to relieve stress and express ourselves! Your journey is your own, and no one else’s, so don’t get caught up in comparing yourself to others! We want our readers to celebrate their individual progresses each day!
- Community: Healthy living is much more effective with a team of people who can cheer each other on! I don’t know where I would be today without my parents, sisters, and friends constantly challenging me to grow! Follow In the Pink to join an encouraging community that is determined to take the new year by storm!
